At the beginning of this month, fashion and style gurus Gok Wan and Kirsty Drury spent a few days at London’s Gatwick Airport, supplying on-the-spot fashion advice to passers by!
The event aimed to promote the airport as a style destination. A catwalk runway was set up to showcase the clothes and accessories available from the shops at Gatwick. Participating stores included Carvela, Ted Baker and Accessorize.
Kirsty Drury, who has worked as a stylist for the like of Kylie Minogue, Rachel Stevens and Claudia Schiffer, held make-up and fashion ‘masterclasses’ at the airport, drawing on her extensive experience styling celebrities.
Organised by Brando, a PR and experiential agency based in Camden, the company joined forces with advertiser Naked, media planner MindShare and marketing agency DNX. The event was a roaring success.
